NEW DIY!! How I Used Common Garage Tools to Distress New Pine Stair Treads


Part of my ongoing stair remodel project.  Tore out all of the carpet, then off with the old OSB/chipboard treads.  Next, I ended up purchasing the fantastic solid pine board tread from our local lumberyard.  A bit of “distressing” with tools found in my garage, and these treads are well on their way to the cool, rustic, reclaimed barn wood look that I’ve been dreaming of.  Here is my video about how to distress pine wood:
